Welcome New Clients & Horses!

There are many new faces in the Whileaway barn aisle. Judith Burns joins the team with her Canadian Sporthorse "Mister." Congratulations are due to Ted Hiscox, who recently purchased his new partner "Connor." Audrey and Kathy Meadowcroft have recently brought their horse Scout's Honor ("Moxy") to Whileaway. Also new to the barn is Sweet Dreams ("Sweetie"), a Plaid Ranch, LLC horse. Welcome to Whileaway Farm!

Spring Horse Show Update

At the Pebble Beach Spring Horse Show, Lucie and Bandit won a Level 7 class and finished 7th in Saturday night's $5,000 Pebble Beach Special. With new horse NZ Socialite, Lucie was Champion in the Seven/Eight-Year-Old Jumpers.

Lucie and Bandit won a 1.35m class at the Woodside Spring Preview to finish the week as Division Champion. Lucie and NZ Socialite went clean in the $7,500 Woodside Jumper Classic for a 7th place finish. At the Woodside Spring Classic, Amy Drake and new mount Dress Code were Champion in Equitation 36 & Over.

New Arrival!

Congratulations to Lucie on the purchase of her new horse, NZ Socialite ("Ernie"), recently imported from New Zealand. Ernie is coming 8 years old. Lucie and Ernie will campaign in the 7/8 Year-Old classes in 2008.

2007 Year-End Awards

Mission Beach, owned by Louisa Ward, had a successful 2007 season, ending the year on many Year-End leaderboards with Lucie in the irons in the Regular Working Hunters and Louisa riding in the amateur classes:

USEF Zone 10, Regular Working Hunters, 6th
PCHA Region 2, Regular Working Hunters, 2nd
PCHA, Low Amateur/Owner Hunters, 3rd
NorCal, Regular Working Hunters, 6th
NorCal, Amateur/Owner Hunters, 8th
